The High-Impact Green Wall Upgrade Transforming Sydney’s Leading Hospitality Venue

Key Info

Client: The Star Casino, Sydney
Market Sector: Clubs & Hospitality
Project Classification: Moderate

The Vision

The Star Casino required a design enhancement for the Harvest Buffet that would deliver immediate visual impact, strengthen the guest experience, and uphold the premium standards expected of one of Australia’s most visited hospitality destinations.

The objective was clear: create a high-end artificial green wall feature that looked natural, performed consistently, and eliminated the maintenance, watering, replacement cycles, and operational risk associated with living plant installations inside large-scale hospitality environments.

Evergreen Walls was selected to deliver a premium artificial planting solution that would visually elevate the space, stand up to constant foot traffic, and provide long-term value for The Star’s venue operations team.

The Process

Evergreen Walls supplied and installed a 37m² Evergreen Premium Green Wall System engineered for casino and hospitality environments. The custom colour-rich seasonal mix was selected for its ability to introduce layered foliage, controlled pops of colour, and a visually dynamic finish suitable for a contemporary dining space.

The installation incorporated Evergreen Premium panels, a full suite of seasonal accent plants in purple, pink, yellow, and white tones, and a secure fixing system designed for durability across continuous daily use. The Evergreen Premium panels are UV-tested, Group 2 Fire Rated, and specifically chosen to maintain their structural integrity and visual clarity over time.

The Result

The completed artificial green wall has transformed the Harvest Buffet into a vibrant, immersive, and visually cohesive dining destination. The result presents the refined natural aesthetic The Star wanted, while eliminating all ongoing maintenance requirements and long-term plant replacement costs.

The installation provides a consistent, high-performance green feature that withstands fluctuating lighting, extended service hours, and the demands of a major hospitality venue. It brings enduring vibrancy to the space, elevates guest perception, and enhances the overall ambience without adding operational complexity.

This project demonstrates how a strategically delivered artificial green wall can offer exceptional design impact, predictable performance, and significant whole-of-life value across large-scale hospitality environments. The Star Casino now benefits from a colour-rich, maintenance-free green wall that strengthens its identity and provides an elegant visual anchor within one of Sydney’s busiest dining precincts.
