The Vision

Brothers Townsville’s original living ceiling canopy had withered over time, leaving the space visually sparse and difficult to maintain. The vision was to restore a lush overhead greenery experience while eliminating the irrigation, access, and ongoing plant replacement challenges of real planting in a busy hospitality venue.

Evergreen Walls was engaged to replace the failing live system with a premium artificial green canopy, using realistic artificial vine systems and trailing greenery to deliver long-term impact with zero maintenance.

The Process

The new artificial canopy was designed as a decorative vine overlay branching up from ground-level planter pots and extending through the existing ceiling beams. Upright posts were wrapped onsite, then blended into overhead structure to create the effect of natural creeping growth.

Across fourteen beams, Evergreen installed dense layers of artificial vines, artificial hanging greenery, and flowering sprays including wisteria, bougainvillea, pothos, and cherry blossom garlands. All fixings were fully concealed, ensuring a clean, natural finish consistent with a high-quality commercial artificial plant installation.

Installation was completed using an elevated work platform (EWP) to ensure safe, precise detailing across the ceiling structure.

The Result

The venue now features a vibrant, maintenance-free artificial ceiling greenery system that transforms the overhead plane into a defining hospitality feature. This large-scale artificial vine installation delivers long-term durability, consistent atmosphere, and a premium finish tailored to commercial interiors. The project showcases Evergreen Walls’ proficiency in hanging greenery solutions and large-format artificial canopy installations, providing a maintenance-free alternative to live plant systems in demanding hospitality environments.
