Our clients were in need of something to add colour and vibrancy to their outdoor courtyard. The area is visible from their kitchen as they opted for a window in place of a splashback so it was imperative that the courtyard provided a beautiful view and a pop of colour. Our clients had recently renovated their kitchen so they wanted a statement piece to complete the look and compliment the beautiful natural wood panelling of their outdoor courtyard fence. Whatever solution they chose had to keep maintenance to an absolute minimum so after shopping around, Moy and his family decided an artificial green wall was the right choice for them.
Our talented installation team travelled to the job and ensured the green panels were installed efficiently, cutting the panels onsite to fit design specifications and recessing them into the timber feature wall.
The courtyard is at the south side of the house and therefore proved problematic to grow plants in. During the winter months it receives little sunlight and can be quite cold whilst in summer it had the opposite problem of gaining excessive amounts of sun. After failed attempts of growing plants and an already huge garden to maintain, our clients decided it was time for something of zero to low maintenance and maximum impact. As the splashback needed some colour and only a vertical garden could provide the right type of effect, our client's really wanted a green wall. Due to the environmental conditions, an artificial green wall was the only viable solution and one which could provide all the beauty of a real vertical garden without adding to the already hefty task of home maintenance.
We were so glad we could help our clients complete their renovation project with such a fantastic result.
Evergreen Urban allowed our clients to install a beautiful artificial vertical garden where one of the real kind would not have been possible. Real vertical gardens require the perfect amount of natural sunlight and hefty irrigation systems, both of which could have presented as problematic issues. The installation of Evergreen Urban allowed our clients the greenery they desired without the added stress of maintenance and brown patches. It also dual purposed as a vibrant splash back visible from their brand new kitchen.
Moy and his family were extremely happy with the result, sending our customer service team the photos of their finished project and expressing how pleased they were with the result. Moy was able to save money on expensive designer splashbacks and gain increased purpose with a feature wall to brighten his courtyard AND act as an effective splashback feature for their brand new kitchen. Therefore, saving time and money gaining two design features for the price of one. Based on Moy's positive response, we are sure he will be back!
